The CLB Comedy and Sausage night event took place on 22nd of November as planned and it was very well attended by nearly 60 masons and their families and friends. It was a very enjoyable evening that started with a hearty sausage meal provided by our very own Jon West and ended with brilliant entertainment provided by 4 comedians. All in all, it was an excellent event and very much appreciated by all those in attendance.
Alma Mater 1492 Lodge, Gild of St Mary 7288 Lodge, and the CLB cordially invite everyone to a slightly “steamy” afternoon, which if assisted by good weather promises to be an excellent event, packed with games, food, and drinks for the entire family!

On Wednesday 4th May, the Cambridgeshire Light Blues were delighted to draw the Chairman’s Raffle Prize winners at the Festive Board of The Lodge of Three Grand Principles 441. The night was an official Buddies Visit which saw 10 New Initiates and Fellowcraft from all over the Province come and see an initiation.
CLB reps in every Lodge in the Province had been busy over the prior weeks selling raffle tickets to their Lodges with the proceeds due to be split between the 2023 Festival, Soham Community Group, and Cambridge Caring for the Homeless.
The raffle raised a grand total of £1000 which was phenomenal. We donated £400 to the 2023 Festival, £300 to Cambridge Caring for the Homeless, and a further £300 to Soham Community Group.
The donation to Soham Community Group will be used to facilitate a day tip for local pensioners whilst the donation to Cambridge Caring for the Homeless will be used to purchase sleeping bags, socks, underwear, coffee, sugar and snacks to be distributed to the local homeless community.
One of our Committee members Terrance Parsons could not make the 441 meeting as he was busy out on the streets of Cambridge feeding the homeless on behalf of the CLB’s. We are very proud to have Terrance as one of our members and if anyone else would like to join him please let us know so we can put you in touch.
A huge thank you to all the Brethren who purchased tickets and enabled us to raise such an impressive sum for such worthy causes.
